This woodcut is of seaweed brought in from the shore of the Sound Of Mull, yards from the studio. When it is underwater, the seaweed undulates and sways, and tangles around your feet as you swim, like a sea monster. I have tried to capture its dynamic nature in this woodcut on birch ply, carved during a stormy time in winter.
