Perilous/Nebulous is a collage made between 2022 and 2025.
Its inspiration is rooted in the Isles of Scotland surround by sea. It is also about being absorbed and cloaked by the powerful and mysterious elements of air and water and my experience of standing alone on the precipice of land formed and altered throughout time.
My practice is based in printmaking and this piece is made up from collographs printed on a selection of papers including tissue paper and somerset paper. Incorporated into the papers has been gold leaf and waterbased mediums.
