This piece is one of a series of works inspired by pastel dust at the bottom of my easel after life drawing classes. When I looked down I could see a landscape emerging where the coloured pastel dust had fallen. It triggered memories of the way the hills and lochs meet in Scottish sea lochs which I have tried to capture in this work.
