Lindy Furby
This is a collagraph print of a small harbour in the far North East of Scotland. I had just been out fishing and watercolour painting on the wee white boat ( mackerel and cod). The image comes from a plein air painting I made sat on the harbourside, listening to the sea and the seagulls cry. The plate was made with carborandum, pva and tiling cement on mountboard. Its relation to the theme is that this was once a busy fishing harbour – now just one wee boat fishes commercially from it.
