Gillian Murray
This work is priced unframed.
In 2020 in between covid-19 lockdowns, I managed to get a trip to Plockton to see the sea. I spent a week there walking and drawing which was incredibly restorative. I found a new patch of coast I hadn't walked previously, not far from the village of Duirinish. Here, there lies a few houses with impressive views over the sound of Loch Carron. The print I have made is a collagraph and screenprint combination to show the texture of the land and islands against the calm sea and sky of that area.
