Working over a screenprint with the words of Rabbi Burns in alphabetical order, sections are taken and painted over therby erasing words...'Burns Erasure' is an ongoing series of works. Working over a screenprint with the words of Rabbi Burns in alphabetical order, sections are taken and painted over therby erasing words and creating an unique lighthearted erasure poem. Highlighting such words as 'bonnie braw beastie' and other insect related words, some are more subtle than others allowing the reader to create several poems within it. The translation of the scots words will be on the back of the artwork for any who request.
