In fact for me, this only hightened the mystery. I examined kelp under the microscope, going further with the seamat by using scanning electron microscopy. Seamat, is an epiphytic colonial animal that lives on kelp and other seaweeds; so here I have chosen to overlay the images using screen-printing processes to give an impression of the mystery and translucency proferred by so much life in the sea.
