Moving to the same rhythm as the seaweed brings you closer to...The sensation of the sea holding you whilst you observe life below the surface is like none other. Moving to the same rhythm as the seaweed brings you closer to their world. Essential for life on Earth through their carbon capture, oxygen production, absorbing of pollutants, provision of habitat, food and medicine, seaweeds offer hope. But seaweeds, along with all the life they support, are under serious threat. The fossil-fuelled climate and ecological emergency causing rising sea temperatures, ocean acidification, disease, increase of invasive species, along with over-fishing and pollution, begs the question – holding fast, but for how long?
