In this moment, the ice feels like safe ground.
But the ground is melting.
The predator waits.
And the balance tilts.
The ocean, once the cradle of life, now holds a shifting threat:
unseen, relentless, and closing in.
We live in a time where safety is temporary and stillness can deceive.
We are all on borrowed ground now.
And like this seal, we may only realise it when the stillness breaks.
But perhaps in that moment, we also begin to listen and change course.
